Savvy Saturday project: No sew, no glue, no cut 30-second silk flower headband

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a really really really easy little project to show you. Actually, I've been meaning to post this for months. (Sorry about the pictures, by the way, I had to take them with my phone because this was back when my camera was busted)

30-Second silk flower headband

It's so easy!
Just find yourself some silk flowers. This was my first time trying this so I just bought a cheap $0.97 bunch from Walmart.
(PS, if you have  super Walmart, their craft section is awesome and cheap.)

Pull the flower off the stem,

then remove all the plastic parts so the petals are independent.

Use a coupon and get yourself some cute brads from a craft store (remember, Joann Fabrics accepts competitor coupons!)

Just make sure they are brads, with these things on the back.

Stick the brad of choice through the flower petals.

Get yourself a crocheted headband. I bought a bunch of these cheap headbands from hairbowsunlimited.com (they were the cheapest I could find).

I simply stuck the brad "legs" through the headband!

...and there you go! Couldn't be easier :) Try this with different kinds of flowers and you'll have a gorgeous set of hair clips/headbands with NO WORK.
Love it.
Happy Saturday!
