Happy friday! For Friend-Feature Friday today I wanted to feature a reader friend, Ginger, who emailed me recently. She shared success she had in being assertive (remember the "A" in my F.A.C.T's of saving?? HERE) and getting a great deal on a chair for her house.

Ginger said:I wanted to thank you for being in my head the other night (I'll explain). I was at a Modern Display Christmas open house sale type thing, and saw a beautiful chair that would fit my house perfectly! It was originally $300, but I had a 40% off coupon which brought it down to $180. However, it was a floor model and had a few small dings, etc. Enter you! I remember you put on your website that you should just always ask for a discount! So, I told the manager that I'd take the floor model now if I got $30 off for the small dings. So, I got this $300 chair for $149 (including tax!)! Thank you for your tips ... I'm following!!
