I used to use my husband's hair product on my son to try to style his hair. It never worked! It's heavy, greasy, would get matted and gross after his naps, and hair product can be expensive. I came up with a creative way to get hair product from an everyday item you have lying around your house...
Lotion!
Baby lotion is my favorite, but any lotion will work. Check out this video to see how I do it (click HERE to see it on Youtube):See how easy it is? I use it on my son's hair every day, and now my husband does it too. Makes your hair smell great as well :)
