I know some people think they are taking over the world. Well, in my opinion...I have to agree! But I simply love all of the great FREE things they have given...well...the world. :)Here's a fun savings tip thanks to, yes, Google.
I lost my phone (again, UGH) and have to order a new one. So obnoxious. I was completely stranded since we have no land-line, until my genius of a husband showed me this fun and FREE feature in my gmail account!
You can make calls anywhere in the US for FREE, from your computer! It's great! The call clarity is surprisingly good.
I also recommend signing up for Google Voice. This allows you to receive calls as well as make calls. I don't have this installed yet (and unfortunately it runs through a cell phone so I can't sign up for it until my new one comes...darn...) so in the meantime I can only make calls out.
