I thought I'd "replay" this old tip that my mom taught me about a sneaky way to repair chips on plates (and maybe even car paint??...worth a shot...)

My mom has these adorable red plates that are the focalpoint of her kitchen. The bummer with bright dishwear, though, is that when it chips (as all dishes do) it's really noticeable. Marker doesn't work well because it doesn't fill in the chip and isn't shiny like ceramic. Shoe polish doesn't work, and furniture markers don't work either. The solution?
Yup, nail polish. Give it a try, it works like a gem!
