Saving Craving! Savings Tip: Christmas clearance time

The Holidays are over, so now is the time to take advantage of great after-Christmas clearance sales! Yes, they are still going on. In fact, I prefer to buy now (mid to late January) rather than right after Christmas because the sales are WAY better! Yes, the stuff has been picked through, but there are still plenty of gems out there just waiting to be discovered.

Case and point?
Today I stopped by Michaels craft store quickly for some ribbon. Their Christmas stuff is 80% off so I glanced briefly at the items. My steal of the day?

 These super cute 100-sheet monogrammed pads of paper, and adorable monogrammed ornaments! PERFECT for gifts!

 These ornaments? $0.60 each, no coupon or anything.

And the kicker? Are you ready for this? These pads of paper cost a whopping $0.20 each. (Ok all my friends out there, forget I told you the price of these because you will all be getting them for your birthdays!)

I recommend going back to your favorite stores to see what's left of the Christmas items. You might be surprised as to what is left, and how great of a deal the stuff is!
