Alta Resort also has a Torchlight parade followed by fireworks. They are asking for a small donation to participate-a can of food for the Utah food bank.
Event starts at 6 pm.
Here are a few more details:
The parade follows the main cat track from Watsons Cafe to the base of the mountain. Visitors wishing to participate in the parade should bring goggles, leave your poles at home and must be able to hold a snowplow down the entire cat track. To watch the torchlight parade, the Goldminers Daughter is a good spot or park along the main road.
