If you are anything like me, cash is hard to come by at times. Did you know you can get a payment plan on nearly anything?? You can! I promise! I do it all the time.
A payment plan simply spreads out your cost over a certain amount of time.
For example, a doctor bill might be $500. If you don't have $500 at the time, rather than not paying it and getting interest tacked onto the bill or having an unpaid bill negatively affect your credit, simply ask them for a payment plan! They WILL let you, I promise. Ask them all the options. Often times they have a payment plan that doesn't incur interest. You might have to pay it off quicker than other payment plan options, but saving the interest really helps!
You can truly do a payment plan for anything - my friend is on a payment plan right now, paying off her speeding ticket! One thing you want to be careful of, of course, is payment plans when it comes to simply purchasing something. That would be a whole other savings tip, so let me just leave you with this : don't buy things you can't afford, and if you are paying something off over time, do it quickly! And get the lowest interest rate possible!
Anyway, what I am referring to is specifically paying off bills, fines, or fees with payment plans - NOT purchases. So next time you get a fee, bill, or fine, go for the payment plan and it'll save you some cash. Just be sure to pay it off in time, and never spend money on something you can't afford!
Give it a try!
Happy savings to you :)
