Christmas Events


You may have seen my two previous posts on fun cheap things to do to get in the Christmas spirit. If not you can check them out HERE and HERE. I found a few more fun things to do:

Festival Of Trees. I went with my family last year. The displays were amazing!
DECEMBER 1 – 4, WEDENSDAY – SATURDAY 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Featuring over 1,000 displays of decorated trees, wreaths, gingerbread creations, centerpieces, quilts, and playhouses, as well as a Gift Boutique, Sweet Shoppe, Kids Korner, entertainment, and piping hot scones and sweet rolls. PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE DOOR - Tickets are $5.00/adults; $3.00/children age 2 to 11; $4.00/senior citizens. Children under age 2 are free. Cash or check only. No credit cards. ATM machines are available at South Town Expo Center.
DISCOUNT TICKETS - Available at any Zions Bank location for $4.00 adult, $2.50 children.

The Salt Lake Children’s Choir will present its traditional FREE Christmas concerts Friday December 3rd and Sunday December 5th at 8:00 PM (not Saturday as in previous years) at the Cathedral of the Madeleine., 331 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Where: 331 E South Temple, Salt Lake City. 8:00 PM Admission is open to those over six years of age.

FREE Christmas Village-Saturday, November 27 through Saturday, January 1 - Christmas Village Ogden City’s Christmas Village illuminates downtown Ogden with its magnificent festive lights every year from the Saturday after Thanksgiving through the first weekend in January. You will find yourself in a dazzling winter wonderland set aglow with Christmas lights. Adding to the magnificent beauty is the unique setting of cottages located in the park for everyone to enjoy. Each cottage has its own theme and is modeled after Santa’s North Pole Village. (Municipal Gardens, 2500 Grant Ave., Ogden)
