Today's tip I heard, once again, on the Nate Berkus show (I love that show!). They had a money saving specialist on there that gave a great tip!
Pharmacies mark up prescriptions about 14%. Warehouse stores such as Costco and Sam's Club, however, do not. But how do you justify buying a warehouse membership just to buy prescriptions?
You don't have to!
Legally you can buy prescriptions anywhere, regardless if you have a membership or not. Simply walk in the store and when they ask for your card say, "I'm just buying a prescription" and they have to let you in.
Ladies: Birth control is a prescription and can be very expensive. Save money and buy them at Costco or Sam's!
Hooray for cheap prescriptions!
