DIY T-shirt project

Do It Yourself T-Shirts

I see these cute little boy shirts with fun sayings on them at lots of stores and online but they are generally more than I care to spend on a t-shirt for my boys. So I decided, why not make them myself.
So I looked around and found that you can order kids t-shirts on Hanes.com when you buy 2 shirts you get one free. That means you can get 3 shirts for $6.99! I found this online code that made my shipping $1.99 [XH3KD]. The offer expires the end of the month. I got 6 shirts for $17 after tax and shipping!
Then I went to Office Max and got their store brand of iron on printable transfer paper. 10 sheets for $15. They have paper for dark shirts and light shirts. Depending on what you put on the shirts you can print more than one saying on each piece of paper. Cut the words out, iron-on and ta-da! You just made your own cute custom t-shirts for less that $5! I call that a great deal and you don't have to be very crafty to do this!
